Brevard – Evelyn Louise Hoxit, 55, passed away Friday, December 25, 2015.

She was the daughter of the late Dan Carmel Hoxit. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her companion, Thomas Lynn Haggin.

Surviving are her mother, Mattie R. Hoxit; daughter, Cathy Green and fiancée Ricky of Brevard; brother Roy L. Hoxit of Brevard; sister, Jeanie Hoxit of Rosman and two grandchildren, Alex Green and Haley McCall; nieces, Kristy Pressley, Keri Wilson and Katie Hoxit; nephews, Jason and Clayton Hoxit.

A Memorial Service will be held 3:30pm, Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Middlefork Baptist Church with the Rev. Chester Chapel officiating. A private burial was held in Harris Cemetery.
