Pisgah Forest – Florence Morgan Meece, 87, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Alvin and Leathie Jones Morgan. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles M. Morgan and her sister, Jennie Sue Hamilton. Survivors include her son; Larry Woodall of Bessemer City, NC, daughter; Rita Aiken of Townville, SC, sisters; Dot, Mary and Mae, grandchildren; Andrea, Bodie, Joey, Adam and Michael and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2pm, Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Raines officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
