Flossie M. Breedlove, age 92, of Brevard passed away Thursday January 28, 2010 at Kingsbridge House in Brevard. She was born November 22, 1914 in Swain County to the late George and Mary Cope Mashburn. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clyde E. Breedlove and several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Breedlove has resided in Transylvania County for the last fifty years. Survivors include one sister; Mrs. Nettie Phillips and her husband Jay of Ackron Ohio and niece Jessie Crane and Jean Hollingsworth both of Brevard with several other nieces and nephews also surviving. Interment will be at Windy Gap Cemetery in Swain County.
