Rosman – Floyd Leon Galloway, 76, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2011 at Transylvania Regional Hospital. A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Cullwell Edward Galloway and Marie Galloway Meece. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Clinton, Doyle, Lewis, and Boyd Galloway, two sisters, Louise Cody and Helen Fowler, and grandson, Connor Galloway. Surviving are his wife, Cleo W. Galloway; sons, Gary Galloway and Tim Galloway both of Rosman, and Dale Galloway and wife Michele of Sylva; three brothers, Nealis, Lester, and Harold Galloway all of Rosman; sisters, Donna Vee Hamilton of Brevard, Dorothy King of Fayetteville, and Carol Hannah of Six Mile, SC; four grandsons, Josh, Jerimiah, Jason, and Aidan; great-granddaugher, Esther Margaret. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, September 23, 2011 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Tommy Owen and Ray Aiken officiating. Burial will be in the Mt.
