Frances E. Barton Frances E. Barton, 85, of Ocala, FL, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2012. Born in Franklin, NC, she moved to Ocala from Miami, FL 12 years ago. Mrs. Barton was a homemaker and loved working with orchids. She is survived by her son, Robert D. Barton, Sr. and wife Bobby of Ocala; daughters, Patricia Wood and husband Tillman of Key Largo, FL, Sheila Anderson and husband David of Marathon, FL, and Shirley Slaughter and husband Rodney of Corning, CA; 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy L. Barton. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, June 7, 2012 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with the Randy Barton and Tommy Owen officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
