Frances Dyer Daves, 71, of Brevard passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017. She was the daughter of the late James and Bonnie Hyatt Dyer. She was preceded in death by one son, Gary Dwayne Daves. Frances was a kind, generous and sincere lady who loved her family and friends dearly. She cared for everyone she knew and considered everyone her best friend. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Ron Daves, sons; Michael Scott Daves and Lynn Schomer of Easley, SC and David Thomas Daves of Brevard, daughter; Sharon Daves Mann of Pisgah Forest, brothers; Bill Dyer and wife Lois of Shooting Creek, NC and Alvin Dyer and wife Donna of Warren, NC, sisters; Elizabeth Bryson of Cleveland, GA, Linda Matheson of Warren, NC, and Montine Nichols of Young Harris, GA; grandchildren, Stephany, Stephen, Aaron, and Samantha and four great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 3pm, Friday, July 7, 2017 at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
