Frances Gosnell, age 83, of Pisgah Forest, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025.

Frances was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished time spent with her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Charles Gosnell.

She is survived by her daughters, Melinda Helton (Brian Helton) and Sharon Buhse (David Buhse); her grandchildren, Kris Helton (April Helton), Britney Buhse-Rosario (Abner Rosario), Tyler Buhse (Gina Buhse), and Nick Buhse; and her great-grandchildren, Gracie, Chloe, Noah, Presley, David, Hadley and Charlie (named after the love of her life Charles Gosnell).

Frances found her greatest joy in the simple, meaningful moments of life. She had a deep love for her family and was happiest when surrounded by them. During Chuck's military career, they lived in many states and overseas including Spain. In each place, Fran made them into a warm welcoming home for her Family and friends. An avid gardener, she found peace and purpose in tending to her flowers and plants, nurturing beauty and life in everything she touched.

Her warmth, quiet strength, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A private service will be held by the family at a later date.
