Obituary

Frank Dwight Hardin, beloved son, brother and friend, passed away on June 29, 2024, at the age of 73. He was born in Brevard, N C.

Frank was the oldest child of Gordon Hardin and Mary Morgan Hardin. Survivors include Marilyn Hardin Henley and her husband Randall Henley of Lawrenceville Georgia.

Frank graduated from Carson Newman University where he studied music, art and botany. Frank worked as a chef, artist, and botanist, at different points in his life in Knoxville, Tennessee, Atlanta, Georgia, and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Frank worked at Country Creations as a florist when he returned to Brevard. He established his own business, Hardin's Gardens. Through his artistic arrangements, Frank brought joy to countless customers and friends.

Frank loved, worked with and then cared for his mom Mary Hardin until she passed away at the age of 101. He loved his church family. He led worship at Christ Covenant, where the love of God through Jesus Christ was very evident.

Frank was known for his creative spirit; he delighted in the creative process.

Frank will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of really knowing him.

The family would like to express their gratitude to all that helped Frank with transportation and the many details of life and health.  And thanks to all the family and friends for their prayers and encouragement.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Frank Dwight Hardin will be remembered for artistic talents, and unwavering love for his family and community. Now he experiences the Great love of God through Jesus Christ, family and friends that have gone on before, because heaven is his home.
