Frank Kelley, formerly of Brevard, NC age 87 went to be with our lord on January 13, 2024.  He will be missed by his family but is finally reunited with his wife Joyce.

Frank was born in Toxey, Alabama on September 23, 1936 to Claude and Gladys Kelley.  He married his wife Joyce on June 18, 1956.  They were married 63 prior to her passing.  Frank served 20 years in the Air Force retiring in 1974.  Frank then joined Morrison's Food Service finally retiring from work at age 81 in 2019.  Frank loved his wife Joyce, their three daughters and their husbands, his four grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Frank was one of twelve children.  He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Kelley, his parents, and his twin sister Francis Kelley as well his siblings Claudine Wright, Laurine Turner, Effie Mae Reeves Wright, Helen Mazingo, and Sidney Earl Kelley.  He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Gantt of Brevard, NC; Patricia Green and husband Lamar of Waleska, GA; and Tammy Brigman of Penrose, NC.  His Grandchildren Chuckie Harrison & wife Melissa, Kelley Kinsey and husband David, Branden Green and wife Katelin and Jessica Brigman as well as seven great grandchildren Skylar Harrison, Kyndall Harrison, Jaylen Kinsey, Anslie Harrison, Bryce Kinsey, Kennedy and Brody Green.  He is also survived by siblings Laurine Chappell, Lamar Kelley, CL Kelley, Sue Allen and Wandis Todd.

Frank loved his family and his country and will be missed by all.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Moody Connolly Funeral Home with Tommy Crocker officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Internment will follow the service in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
