Frazier Glenn Sentelle Pisgah Forest – Frazier Glenn Sentelle, 90, went home to be with the Lord of Friday, January 24, 2014. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late Jethro and Tunia Burns Sentelle. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Smith Sentelle, sisters; Eva Rogers, Thelma Merrill, and Faye Simms and a brother; Orville Sentelle. Mr. Sentelle proudly served his country in the US Navy in WWII as a signal man aboard the Destroyer Escort USS Darby from 1940 – 1943. He was a dedicated cattleman. He was a life-long member of Pisgah Forest Baptist Church. He was a devoted father of five who loved his family dearly. Surviving are his daughters, Debra Eckard and husband Gary of Conover, NC, Theresa Willis and husband Danny of Marietta, SC, and Karen Crocker and husband Emmett of West Plains, MO, sons; Glenn Sentelle of Pisgah Forest and Shawn Jeffrey Sentelle and wife Linda of Pisgah Forest, brothers; Kline and Charles Sentelle of Pisgah Forest, grandchildren, Chad, Dallas, and Joel Eckard, Rebecca, Ely, Daniel and Sarah(RN) Willis, John and Joshua Crocker and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 2pm, Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Pisgah Forest Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory with Military honors provided by the Honor Guard for Veterans of Transylvania County. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 27, 2014 from 6pm – 8pm at the church.
