Fred Clifton Bryson Brevard – Fred Clifton Bryson, 94, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2012. A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Dewitt and Mima Miller Bryson. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Ellen Moody Bryson, a son, Fred Bryson, Jr., sisters, Margaret Hare, Myrtle Pollock, and Maybell Waldrop, and brothers, Leslie, Ules, and Van Bryson. Mr. Bryson was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during WW II and was retired from Ecusta Corp. He was a faithful member of Glady Branch Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mary B. Bryson; son, Tim Bryson and wife Sylvia of Brevard; grandchildren, Lynn Krucke and Phillip Bryson; great-granddaughter, Lauren Krucke; numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory with Rev. Lee Ray Greene officiating and with military graveside rites conducted by the Honor Guard for Veterans of Transylvania County.
