Lake Toxaway – Gary A. Staats, 77, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2015. He was the son of the late Thomas and Sada Ruth Harrison Kaspor. He was also proceeded in death by his biological father, Vivan Staats. Gary was a member of the Dunns Rock Masonic Lodge #267. Surviving are his former wives; Suzanne Staats and Laverne Bourgois; son, Gary A. Staats, Jr of Philadelphia, MS; daughters, Laura Zobel and Husband Grant of Warren, MI, Jennifer Staats of Royal Oak, MI and Brenda Staats and partner Michael Smith of Warren, MI; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
