Brevard - Gary Michael Talley, 58, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at his residence. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of Alberta Lusk Talley and the late Hovie C. Talley. Mr. Talley was an avid motorcyclist, was active in photography, and was a Ham Radio operator. Surviving in addition to his mother are his sister, Ann F. Talley of Brevard; his aunt, Eunice Johnson of Salem, SC; his uncles, Manning Lusk of Pendelton, SC, and Abner Talley and wife Myrna of Salem, SC; numerous cousins. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, May 30, 2011 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with Preacher Sherrill Hubbard officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Gardens.
