Gary Rubin Young Brevard – Gary Rubin Young, 67, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2014.. He was the son of the late Theodore Rubin and Juanita Moody Young. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Young. Gary loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed baseball and a die-hard Dallas Cowboy fan. He was a very hard worker and will be deeply missed. Surviving are his wife of 32 years; Dollie Young, sons; Scott Young and wife Jessie of Brevard, Justin Young and girlfriend Holly Gribbon of Brevard, Chase Young and fiancee Nikki O'Shields of Brevard, Gary Rubin Young, Jr. of Brevard, Kyle and Mitchell Durham of Brevard; daughter, Becky Young of Brevard, sisters; Denise Moody and husband Ricky King of Easley, SC and Tina Moody of Easley, SC, grandchildren; Lauren, Taylor, Nevaeh, Aaliyah, Xander, Kylie, Tyler Marie and Elijah, great grandchildren; Carter and Zayna. Funeral services will be held 5:30pm, Friday, August 8, 2014 at Cedar Mountain Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Cooke officiating. The family will receive friends from 4pm – 5pm at the church.
