Brevard - Gazella Wise Matthews Pierson passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mae Owen Matthews, and siblings, Hazel Middleton, Wilma Moore, Glen Allender, Eloise McCall, Opal Green, and Elmo Matthews. Surviving are her husband, Jerry Cleveland Pierson; son, Larry Ray Gordon and wife Sally Sawyer Gordon; grandchildren, Jeff Gordon and wife Kelli Jackson Gordon, Stephanie Gordon Voso and husband James B. Voso; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Pierson, Megan, and Caleb Gordon, Nicholas and Sarah James Voso ; siblings, Appless Hubbard and Wanda Kate Owen.
