Gerald Gordon Bailey Brevard – Gerald Gordon Bailey, 81, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at the Oaks of Brevard. A native of Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late William and Dorothy Scheuer Bailey. Mr. Bailey was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a former member of the Connestee Falls Fishing Club. He was very active in the American Red Cross. Surviving are his wife, Lois R. Bailey; sons, Kurt Bailey of Beaverton, Oregon, and Richard Bailey and wife Debbie of Troy, Michigan; sister, Lois Wilds of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Jason Carroll and Jaqueline Carroll. Private services will be held.
