Geraldine Fowler Phillips, 85, of Pisgah Forest, went home to be with our Lord on December 29, 2019 after a brief illness. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William Jesse Phillips, her parents, Alfred and Violet Fowler, and two brothers, David and Albert. Mrs. Phillips is survived by 3 children, Bill, Cathy, and Scott and fiance Sandy; one sister Rosemary Moore and husband John; one brother, Charles Fowler; four grandchildren, Brandon, Cassie, Dustin, and Devan; five great grandchildren. She was a member of Community Baptist Church. Her faith never wavered, and now it ended in sight. Mrs. Phillips enjoyed her years working at Varner's Drugstore and The Bakery. She also was a member, at one time, of The Red Hatter's, but her greatest joy was her family, of whom she will truly be missed. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, January 2, 2020 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Raines officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
