Gladys Fisher Suttles, age 86 of Horseshoe died April 13, 2011 at Transylvania Regional Hospital she was born September 30, 1924 in Jackson County to the late Lee Fisher and Mary Pruett Fisher in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. Survivors include her husband John Albert Suttles of the home, two sons; Johnny Lee Suttles and his wife Sharon of Etowah and Alvin Suttles of Mills River, sister-in-law Mary Banks of Brevard, two grandchildren and four great grand children. Funeral services will be held Sunday April 17, 2011 at 3:00pm at Big Ridge Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Tommy Owen. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
