IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Glenn Earl
Davis
August 17, 1937 – September 7, 2025
Glenn E. Davis, 88, of Pisgah Forest, NC gained his wings on September 07, 2025, at his home in Little River surrounded by family and ending a full and wonderful life of 88 years.
Glenn spent 26 years in service to his country in the Navy and Navy Reserves until his retirement in 1990. He also worked for Olin/Ecusta Corporation for 42 years until his retirement in 1994.
In 1962, at the age of 26, he married Thelma Keever, whom he remained married to for 56 years, until she gained her wings.
They raised 4 children along with several foster children who are still family to this day. All this was done while he ran Twin Maple Produce, a roadside produce stand, and farming corn, okra, and tobacco.
Glenn was a longtime member and Deacon at Oak Grove Community Church where he loved Saturday night gospel singings and attending most Sunday and Wednesday services.
Glenn is preceded in death by his loving wife, Thelma, sister June Owen, son Wiggins Blackfox, grandsons Jermey Keever, Christopher Hamrick, and Anderson Wildcat, and great-grandson Gregory Keever.
He is survived by sons Larry Keever (Debbie), Marty Davis (Teresa), and Bill Davis (Amy) and daughters Cassandra "Cissy" Birchfield (Michael) and Sara Wildcat. Grandchildren Patrick Keever (Elise), Brandy Fuller (Chris), Larry Allen Keever (Jeszi), Joey Davis, Lillie Davis, Leah Davis (Branden), Drake Davis (Cynthia), Alex Stewart, Barron Stewart, Ashley Teague (Thomas), Christopher Whitmire, Stephen Phillips (Krystal), Stephanie Lively (Melissa), Kelsey Gillispie, Joshua Gillispie, Amanda Wildcat, Patricia Wildcat, Zack Fisher (Harley), Spencer Meachum (Brittany), and Seth Lucenti, along with 25 great-grandchildren. The family would also like to mention his special friend in his later years, Lisa Elliot. He loved each and every one more than words could ever express.
The family will receive visitors this Friday, September 12, 2025, from 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home.
