Gloria Ann Jones, 73, of Brevard passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015. She was born February 7, 1942 in Hughes County to the late Roger Nix and Carlene Hughes Blackburn Clayton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; David Jones, one daughter; Teresa Hurt, and three grandchildren Brandon, Alycia and Jessica Hurt. Mrs. Jones was a member of Affirmative Word Pentecostal Holiness Church. Survivors include two daughters; Donna Breedlove and Gina Breedlove; one sister Janice Elder, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren Funeral services will be held 3:00pm, Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Bobby Howard, The family of Mrs. Jones has requested that graveside services be private. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until 3:00pm prior to the service on Tuesday.
