Brevard - Gloria Lance Norton, age 73, went home to be with the Lord on January 6,  2024.  She was surrounded by her loving family.

She is proceeded in death by her son Michael Norton, brother Steve Lance, and parents Earnest and Louise Lance.

Gloria was a Brevard native, graduating from Brevard High in 1968. She worked in retail and housekeeping, never meeting a stranger. She was an avid Blue Devil fan, in attendance to watch many generations play ball. She was steadfast cheerleader and solid supporter. She was known in the community as "Mouse" or "Go-Go," but her favorite title was "Maw Maw." She loved her grandchildren dearly.

Gloria is survived by her husband Ralph Norton of 57 years, daughter DeAnna Owens (Doyle), grandchildren Meleah Owens and Breylan Owens, sister Patsy Trent, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends.

Funeral services will be held 2pm, Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Moody Connolly Funeral Home. pm.
