Sapphire – Ha "River" Nguyen Mix, 53, owner of Raspberry Cottage Salon in Sapphire, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Quang T. Nguyen. Survivors include her mother, Quyen "Cindy" T. Le; husband of 11 years, Buddy Mix; son, Matthew Thurston Mix, brothers; Hau , Hai "Henry", Huy "Steve" Nguyen and sisters; Hien "Stephanie", Hoang "Julie", Hoa "Michelle" and Han "Hannie" Nguyen. Funeral services will be held from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home in Brevard. The family will receive friends from 4pm until 8pm on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home.
