Harvey Lee Edwards Balsam Grove – Harvey Lee Edwards, 75, died Monday, September 6, 2010. A native of Lenoir County, NC, he was the son of the late Henry and Myrtle Quien Edwards. He was also preceded in death by two daughters, one brother and two sisters. Surviving are his wife, Letha Smith Edwards; one daughter, Susan Edwards Franklin of Sneads Ferry, NC; one sister, Doris Edwards Houston of Potters Hill, NC; four grandchildren, Tara Pendergrass, Joshua Midgett Shelby Franklin, and Kenneth Pope.; two great-grandchildren, Jordan and Savannah Pendergrass. The memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 11, 2010 in the Chapel of Moody-Connolly Funeral Home with the Rev. Buster McCall officiating.
