Brevard - Helen Ammons McCall, 67, went to be with the Lord Thursday, March 9, 2023.

A native of Transylvania County, she was the wife of the late Cecil James McCall; daughter of the late Dorothy Angel Ammons, and the late Clayton Earle Ammons; and mother of the late Melissa McCall Bunnells.

She loved to read and spend time with her grandchildren, and she attended the In the Bible Mission.

Survivors include her son, Christopher James McCall and wife, Alejandra, of Brevard; grandchildren, Kimberly, Kevin, Jolene, and Kristen; and great-grandchild, Emilia.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in the Moody Connolly Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory following the funeral service.
