Hendersonville – Helen Holden Barton, 89, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Eliza Wilson Holden and was the wife of the late Ralph Barton. Mrs. Barton was a member of Little River Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Lewis Barton, Brenda Owenby, and Wayne Barton all of Hendersonville; grandchildren, Michelle Saltz and husband Anthony of Zirconia, Michael Thomas and Alan Thomas and wife Kellie all of Hendersonville; eight great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11 am Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory. On line condolences may be left at www.moodyconnollyfuneralhome.com.
