Helen King Fugate Pisgah Forest – Helen King Fugate, 75, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at her residence. A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Curtis and Edna Brewer King. She was also preceded in death by a son, Brian Fugate, and a brother, Odell King. Mrs. Fugate was retired from Ecusta and was a member of Boylston Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Carroll G. Fugate; son, Anthony "Tony" Fugate of Pisgah Forest; brothers, Hardy King and wife Teresa of Fletcher, Ronald King and wife Phyllis of Glasgow, KY, and Eddie King of Georgia; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, July 24, 2013 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Burress officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
