Brevard - Helen Crane Hubbard, went to her heavenly home on Dember 23, 2024.

She was the daughter of the late Charles and Nora Owen Crane. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Milford Hubbard, sister, Dixie Crane Cassell, brothers, Joe, Jimmy and David Crane.

Helen retired from Rosman Elementary School with 20 years of service as kindergarten assistant.  She loved each child as her own. She also ran a clothing store in Brevard for sixteen years that she enjoyed. She loved each of her customers who were all her friends. She was a devoted wife, mother and Godly Lady. She was a member of Carson Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include son, Ron Hubbard ( Shirley ), daughter Karen Lambert ( Nick ), special nephews,  Jeff Hubbard , Maurice Cassell , John Cassell  and Dale Crane , special nieces, Angie Woodson and Charlene Cali .

The family would like to offer a special thank you to Four Seasons Hospice for all their tender love and care and to her care and to her caregiver, Mable Byrd that she loved dearly.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Big Hill Cemetery Fund or Carson Creek Baptist Church Missions.

Funeral services will be held 1pm, Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at  Carson Creek Baptist Church

4727 Connestee Trail , Brevard N.C.28712 with the Rev. Eddie Dodson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in Big Hill Cemetery.
