Obituary

Helen Elizabeth Allison Marshall was born on December 27, 1930, and was welcomed into Heaven on March 10, 2026.

Helen was a faithful member of Pisgah Forest Baptist Church, where she attended for 76 years. Her life was rich with faith, and she will be remembered for her devotion to God, her love of family, and the warmth she brought to every gathering.

Family was her greatest joy. She was the mother of four children and leaves behind a legacy of love through sixteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

She had quick wit and her laughter was contagious. She found great happiness in her hobbies and the simple pleasures of life. She loved working in her vegetable garden and spending time outdoors, whether hiking, fishing at the lake, or trips to the beach. She enjoyed music, playing cards, reading, and spending time with family. She also baked the most amazing walnut cake, a treat loved by everyone.

Helen was proceeded in death by Charles B Allison (father), Minnie Belle Johnson Allison (mother), Carroll Roy Marshall (husband), and her siblings; Clarence Allison, C.B. Allison, Maybelle Allison Gasperson, Nellie Allison Sensing, and Ralph Allison.

She is survived by her children; Don Marshall (wife Linda), Debbie Landreth, Melanie Williams (husband Charles), and Deidra Bracken. Her legacy will live on through the many lives she touched.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 am Friday, March 13, 2026, at Pisgah Forest Baptist Church.
