Brevard - Helen Adams Nicholson was granted her angel wings on Thursday, July 1, 2021. Her final days were spent surrounded by the family she loved so dearly. She was born October 13, 1942 in Jackson county, to Parker and Elsie (Jones) Adams. Helen was preceded in death by both parents and two sisters- Virginia Dills and Patsy Medlin and brother Kenneth Adams. Besides being a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother… Helen spent 20+ years as a bank teller with First Citizens Bank. Helen is survived by her husband of 50 years, Bruce Nicholson. Daughter Gwendolyn Bishop and husband Wallace. Grandson Alex Ingle and wife Crystal. Four great grandchildren… Noah (Ashlyn), Ethan (Alicia), Haleigh (Austin) and Lexi. Two great-great grandchildren... Braxton and Charleigh. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. We can only imagine the joyous reunion that took place in heaven upon Helen's arrival. We take peace in knowing that one day, we all will get to rejoice with her again. Memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 5pm at Moody-Connolly Chapel. A private graveside ceremony will be held at a later date.
