Helen Jones Owen Brevard – Helen Jones Owen, 84, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Floyd Wesley and Beulah Wood Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John C. Owen, daughter, Nancy Lynn Owen and her sister, Juanita Keener. Surviving are her son; Dennis Owen and wife Sharon of Spartanburg, daughter; Dianne Whitmire and husband Ronnie of Brevard; sister, Birty Mackey and husband Marvin of Marshall, NC and Azilee Hall of Lake Toxaway, grandchildren, Tiffany Jolly, Roxanne Owen and Aaron Whitmire and four great grandchildren. The memorial service will be held 11am, Saturday, February 21, 2015 at East Fork Baptist Church. Burial will be private in Lake Toxaway Baptist Church Cemetery.
