Helen W. Summey passed away on November 19, 2022. She was a lifelong resident of Transylvania County.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather Milon L. Nicholson, her mother, Stella Nicholson, husband, J.B. Summey, son, Bruce Summey, sister, Sarah Moody, and brother Carol Whitmire.

Mrs. Summey was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to all. She is survived by her children Paul Summey (Merry) of Texas Steve Summey (Carol) of Brevard, Connie Corn (Ricky) of Cedar Mtn.; grandchildren Garth, Drew, Jarrod, Seth, Justin, Dillon, Brooke, B.J., Morgan; great-grandchildren Noah, Nathan, Emory, Huxley, Sawyer, Collins, Merritt, Clara Jo, Wyatt, Ellie, Haiden, Maybrie, Kennedy; and sister Betty Morgan.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 with service to follow on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, in the Moody Connolly Funeral Home chapel.
