Brevard – Henry Sitton, 76, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late William Paul Sitton Sr. and Zona McCall Sitton. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Sitton Scott and a brother, Paul Sitton, Jr. Mr. Sitton was a member of Enon Baptist Church and Dunn's Rock Masonic Lodge. He was retired from Ecusta Corp. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Marie Hoxit Sitton; daughter, Annette Sitton Shipman and husband Dwayne of Balsam Grove; son-in-law, Curtis Scott of Balsam Grove; brother-in-law, Jim Hoxit; grandchildren, Zane Shipman, Paul and Katherine Scott; 2 nieces and 1 nephew. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, February 27, 2016 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel.
