Brevard - Herbert J. Chamberlain, Jr, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024.

He was the son of the late Herbert, Sr. and Vivian Chamberlain. He was also preceded in death by his wife Marion, three brothers, Richard, Thomas and Bryan, two sisters Vivian and Kathleen.

He and his wife Marion moved to Brevard, after his retirement, from New York. He was an army verteran,  serving his time in Korea.

Survivors include two sisters, Regina Orchanian and Loretta Mulford and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Sapphire Ridge along with Care Partners Hospice for their care, comfort and support he received during the time he was a resident.

The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm, Friday, May 31, 2024 at Moody Connolly Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be held 10am, Monday, June 3, 20324 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with inurnment following the service at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
