Hendersonville – Herbert "Hub" Wallace Danielson, 76, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at his residence. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Arthur Oscar Danielson and Cordie Swann Danielson and was the husband of the late Edna Mann Danielson. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Geraldine Benson and Peggy Rogers, and his brother, Johnny Danielson. Mr. Danielson was a retired Registered Master Technician with Volkswagen AG. Surviving are his sons, James Danielson and wife Lee of Grayson, GA, and Paul Danielson and wife Angela of Atlanta, GA; step-daughter, Stephanie Meeks and husband Kevin of Canton, GA; step-son, Scott Parker and wife Jennifer of Canton, GA; sisters, Joyce Galloway and husband Hoyt, and Betty Danielson all of Hendersonville; brothers, Jay Danielson and wife Shirley of South Carolina, Al Danielson of Lakeland, FL, and Steve Danielson and wife Brenda of Travelers Rest, SC; granddaughter, Jayme Danielson of Atlanta; step-grandchildren, Gannon Parker, Casey Meeks, Austin Parker and Keaton Parker. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, February 10, 2012 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Owen officiating. Burial will be in Cathey's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Pm Thursday at the funeral home.
