Hue Carroll Craft Horse Shoe – Hue Carroll Craft, 66, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the Elizabeth House, Flat Rock, NC. A native of Nash County, NC, he was the son of the late Olo Gus Craft and Pearl Winston Craft. Mr. Craft was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War. He loved going to church and working in his yard. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Surviving are his wife, Sarah Craft; daughter, Diana Teaster and her husband, Michael of Weaverville; grandchildren, Savannah and Madison. The funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Anchor Baptist Church of which he was a member. Rev. Randy Barton and Rev. Robert Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Honor Guard for Veterans of Transylvania County. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 PM Tuesday at the church.
