Brevard, NC — Imogene Owen Osteen "Gan Gan" (93), a beloved mother, grandmother, and

great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2024, surrounded by her family.

She was a devoted Christian, whose faith guided her life and inspired those around her.

She worked at Olin/Ecusta for 30+ years. In her retirement, she found great joy in spending time

with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved crafting and spending time

outside, passions that brought her much happiness in her later years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, William Lyday Osteen. Together, they

raised three sons: Mark, Keith, and Scott.

She is survived by her children Mark and his wife Lisa, Keith and his wife Pat, and Scott and his

wife Nekki. Her six grandchildren Cody and his wife Kayla, Jake and his wife Sam, Chris and his wife Sandra, Ashley, Ryan, and Alessa. And her four great grandchildren Aubrey, Emma, Ezra, and Logan.

Her unwavering love for her family and strong devotion to her faith will forever be remembered.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A graveside service will be held Monday September 9, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
