Jack Marion
Frady
April 19, 1935 – February 5, 2024
Pisgah Forest - Jack Marion Frady, 88, went to be with the Lord on February 5, 2024.
He was born April 19, 1935 to the late Earl Marion Frady and Estelle Owenby Frady. He was proceeded in death by two brothers, James Earl and Edward Frady and his beloved son Jack Michael (Mike) Frady.
Jack Served in the United States Army from 1960-1964. While in the Military he was deployed to Germany where he worked in maintenance building and restoring tanks. He aslo served as a Unit Supply Specialist.
He retired after 44 years of service from Ecusta Paper. He was a Supervisor and Planner of Old Maintenance Department. He was also a Millwright. Jack was thought of as a fine fellow.
Jack was a Mason and was Past Master of Dunns Rock #267, A.F. & A.M. He was Duly Elected and Installed as Master in 1972.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy Bryson Frady. Their Anniversary was approaching on February 16th. He is also survived by his two daughters, Marsha Hefner of the home and Michelle McCall (Greg) of Rosman. His grandsons, whom he adored, Zach and Nich McCall of Rosman and Tristan Hefner of Leicester. Siblings, Clifford (Evelyn) of Brevard, Elaine Hubbard (Channing) of Hendersonville, Lewis (Jean) of Etowah, Edith Walworth (Gary) of Minnesota, and Emma Redden (Randy) of Hendersonville. He also had numerous nieces and nephews. He cherished a special friendship with Joe and Vicky Dillon and their son Cody and his wife Hope and children Carter and Brooklyn.
Jack adored his family and loved all their get togethers. He enjoyed farming and especially gardening. He took so much pride in what he grew and took pride in sharing all that he harvested. He loved Gospel music and also Bluegrass music. He looked forward to listening to Bluegrass every Saturday with his precious wife Dot. He loved talking to people and was known for his kind and generous spirit.
