Jack Corbin Owen, 88, of Lake Toxaway passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late Vincent Corbin and Nany Elizabeth Lee Owen. He was preceded in death by his first wife Verdary Chapman Owen; son, Danny Lee Owen and brother; James Edward Owen. Survivors include his wife of 17 years; Marjorie Rose Owen, son; Tony Owen and wife Pam of Lake Toxaway, brothers; Jerry Richard Owen and wife Brenda of Rosman and Robert Joseph "Joe" Owen and wife Gaynelle of Lake Toxaway, sisters; Jean Crotts and husband Ralph of Shelby, NC, Joann Galloway and husband Fred of Brevard, Jonnie Fordyce of Lake Toxaway and Jeanette Owen of Lake Toxaway, grandchildren; Ashley and husband Michael and Crystal. Funeral Services will be held 2pm, Friday, August 18, 2017 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Lake Toxaway Baptist Church Cemetery.
