Obituary

Jack Wyatt graced Heavens Gates Sunday, March 27, 2011 from the Elizabeth House, He slipped peacefully away with his daughter by his side. He fought a long and hard battle and was always surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on January 29, 1933 in Rutherfordton NC. He graduated from Canton High School. He served in the U.S. Navy, Brevard Police Reserves, and was an active member in the Republician Political Party. He retired from Ecusta in 1988. He was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Mission Church in Pisgah Forest for the past 20 years, where he sang in the choir as long as his health allowed. He was instrumental in keeping check on members and their needs, especially homebound members. He was always ready to pray for prayer request and rejoiced in praise reports with anyone. He greeted everyone at the church door and made them feel like family. Greeting him in heaven were his parents, Rev. A.M. (Mack) Wyatt and Leona Tony Wyatt, sisters, Christine Wyatt, Mary Randall and Joann Shytle, nephew Doug Randall, sister in law Bobbie Gail Wyatt, special friends Freeda Worley, Sandy Eubanks, Donald Worley, Chad Lance, Betty Wyatt and many more friends. He leaves to cherish his memories and spirit, his daughter Lita and husband John of Lyman SC, grandchildren Brian and wife Annie Magner of Summerville SC, Christian Trotter of Lyman SC, great grandchildren Hannah Hailey, Samantha and Reece. His brother Perry Wyatt of Hendersonville, sister Cindy and husband Clarence Campbell of Forest City NC, Mary and Jimmy Keller, Hazel McMahan, Tammy and Jeff Pressley, Lynn & Randy Sprinkle, Promise and Zachary Russell, Megan and Ashleigh Pressley, and Destinee Sprinkle. Jack loved everyone and everyone loved him. Jack fought a long and hard battle for several years. Through it all he was always there for everyone, no matter what. His memory will always be a comfort to everyone who knew and loved him. He was a blessing to many. We believe Jack has heard his Lord and Savior say, "Well done, my good and faithful servent". Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 29, 2011 at 4:30pm at Calvary Baptist Mission conducted by Rev. Roger Smith and Rev. Leo Worley. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the church and again from 3:30pm until 4:30pm on Tuesday prior to the service at the church and at other times the family will be at the home of his brother, Perry Wyatt 91 North Pine Crest lane, Hendersonville. Interment will be at Pisgah Gardens with military honors provided by The Honor Guard for Veterans of Transylvania County. Flowers will be appreciated or memorials can be made to Calavary Baptist Missio Church In Memory of Jack C. Wyatt.
