Pisgah Forest – James "Brandon" Owens, 35, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016. He was the son of James Elmer and Cathy Owens Conley. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Dovie Owens and paternal grandfather, Joseph McCall. In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Melissa Owens of Gary, IN; maternal grandparents, Frankie and Henrietta Owens; paternal grandmother, Mary McCall, sons; James Brandon "B. J." Owens, Jr., Javier Owens, Michael Owens and Felipe Jimenez, daughters; Catalina Owens and Jessica Jimenez; brother, Adam Conley and wife Noteca of Brevard; sister, Summer Conley Griffin and husband Nathan of Horseshoe; many aunt, uncles, nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 2pm, Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Glade Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Spencer and Gwen Jones officiating.
