Brevard - James "Thomas" Levi of Brevard, NC passed away peacefully in his home on September 20, , 2025.

Thomas was born in Green River, NC to Thomas Wesley and Julia Beddingfield Levi.  He grew up in Tuxedo, NC until he moved to Brevard, NC in the 1980's.  He worked at TVS, Hardee's, and Burger King until he retired.  He often walked all over town and would be recognized for that as well as on the job and at church.  He attended Morningside Baptist for many years but recently joined the Special Friends group at First United Methodist Church.

Thomas loved to make jewelry and draw pictures that he shared with friends, family, and strangers.  He  loved to draw houses but would also do landscapes, automobiles, and animals.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.  He is survived by his TADC family – Robert, Bob, Steve, Chase, Drew, Shelly, Eric, Amy, Cindy, Zach, and Jessie.

A Celebration of Life will be held at First United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 4:00 pm, followed by a reception in the Fellowship Hall.
