James Elden Moody, Ph.D Brevard – James Elden Moody, Ph.D, 72, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 20, 2014. He was a son of the late Frank, Sr. and Charlotte Osborne Moody. Dr. Moody was a pastor for more than 50 years. He loved reading the Bible and spending time with his wife. Surviving are his wife, two children, one grandson, two brothers and one sister. Funeral Services will be held 11 am, Friday, January 24, 2014 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home with the Rev. Chester Chappell and the Rev. Bob Stacy officiating.
