James Thomas Vaughn went to be with the Lord on June 24,2022 following a courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph William Vaughn, his mother Dorothy Sue McCarson Vaughn his sister Donna Vaughn Newton and his niece Tasha Newton. Jimmy loved music and entertaining people. As a young boy he wanted to be a clown. He loved children, animals and his family. He brought joy to many through his music career that spanned 50 plus years He is survived by his loving wife Cheryl Hinkle Vaughn; two sons and daughters in law, Brint and Kerston Vaughn of Hendersonville NC, Victor and Elizabeth Vaughan of Sedona, AZ He has one precious granddaughter, Sierra Vaughn who lives in Wake Forest, NC. Survivors also include many wonderful, loving cousins. A memorial service will be held at Moody Connolly Funeral Home in Brevard NC on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 2pm.
