James "Harvey" Wilkie, 84, of Greenville, S.C. Passed away December 30, 2012 after a period of declining health. He was a son of the late William Pinckney Wilkie and Beulah Tanner Wilkie of Polk County, N.C. He was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Greenville, S.C. He was a 1947 graduate of Brevard College and later received his BS degree in Industrial Engineering in 1957 from NC State University. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. His passion and avocation were flying and piloting his own aircraft.. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Reba Allison Wilkie; a son James Harvey Wilkie, Jr. and his wife Bonnie of Easley,S.C.; a son Victor Allison Wilkie of Greenville, S.C.; a grandson Tanner Markham Wilkie, of Easley, S.C.; a granddaughter Katie Wilkie Hatley of California; a great grandson Seth Michael Wilkie of Easley, S.C.; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was a loving husband, father, friend, being especially fond of his sons and grandchildren. He will be missed. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday January 4, 2013 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follw at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memories.
