James Wilson, 78 of Pisgah Forest passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Pardee Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was the son of the late Lonard and P. Ellen Clayton Wilson. He was also preceded in death by his brothers; Monroe, Lee Roy, Walter and Bill, and his sister Irene Sheppard. James was a member of Pisgah Forest Baptist Church and worked for Olin Cooperation for over 32 years. Survivors include his wife; Shirley Winchester Wilson, sons; James Brent Wilson and wife Sharon, Barth Wilson, daughter; Bridget Wilson all of Pisgah Forest; several grandchildren including, Carlie, Grayson and Mia and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00PM on Friday, October 25, 2013 at Enon Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
