James T. Wood, Sr., 92, of Brevard, passed away on June 29, 2026. He was the son of Rufus Wood and Lucille Woods Wood. He was predeceased by his wife, Lola Fisher Wood and his son James T. (Jimmy) Wood.

Mr. Wood is survived by his grandchildren, Michael (Crystal) Wood, Michelle Wood (Danny) Blackwell, Tommy Wood and Karen Wood along with numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is a special friend Tony Wilson.
