Brevard - Jamie Robert Lance, age 46, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020. He was a lifetime member of Trinity Baptist Church in Asheville, and he loved his Lord. Jamie loved his family. He was all about making memories and boy did he make great ones. He loved going to the beach, taking his boys tubing, and spoiling his grandbabies. He loved to joke around and make people smile whenever he could. He was a manager at Cracker Barrel for 17 years. He built many relationships there. Jamie was a man built to give out nothing but care and compassion for anyone that he came across. Jamie was always involved in high school sports in Brevard, from being a valuable player during his own football day to attending all Nathan's football games and wrestling matches to support his son and the team! Survivors include his wife Kendra, one son, Nathan and one daughter, Kayla and her husband Michael, two adored grandchildren, Brooklyn and Mason, parents, Dan and Linda Lance, one sister, Melissa Floyd and her husband Michael, nephew Corey, niece Malia, mother and father in law, Ken and Dorie Tilson, sister in law, Tanya Tilson and Bret Dalton, and niece Savannah. His funeral service will be held 6pm, Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Trinity Baptist Church with the Revs. Dr. Ralph Sexton, Jr. and Allen Rash officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Graveside service will be held 2pm, Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
