Brevard – Jane Singletary Nicholson, 74, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Louise Barton Singletary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Nicholson. Jane graduated from Brevard High School class of 1959. She enjoyed gardening. She loved her dogs Milo and Midget and adored her granddaughters. Surviving are her son; John Nicholson of Brevard, daughters; Cindy Nicholson of Seneca, SC and Kelly Nicholson of Brevard, brother; Charles Carr of Brevard and sister; Fran Arnold and husband Tom of Brevard, granddaughters; Brittany Nicole Nicholson and Kimberly Thomas. Memorial services will be held 7pm, Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Arnold officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
