Janet Lee Lamb Arden - Janet Lee Lamb, 52, hiked her way to Heaven on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Tommy Thompson and Dora Thompson Farley. Mrs. Lamb was a member of Biltmore Baptist Church. She enjoyed plants, horticulture, loved animals, and did charity work. Surviving are her husband, Gary Lamb; daughter, Jennifer Fisher Franklin of Asheville; grandchildren, Catherine Lindsey, and triplets, Anthony, DeAngelo, and Alonzo Lindsey; step-daughter, Mondy Lamb of Raleigh, NC; sisters, Judy McCall and husband Steve of Lake Toxaway, Patty Jones and husband Mark of Reidsville, NC, Tammy Stoner and husband Dave of Chicago, IL; brother, Tom Holmgren and wife Sheri of Racine, WI. The funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, March 6, 2013 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Buster McCall officiating. Burial will be in Mack McCall Cemetery, Lake Toxaway. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
