Brevard - Janet (Seay) Shepherd, beloved wife, mother, and friend, died peacefully at her home on December 13, 2022 at the age of 80.

Janet grew up in Woodruff, SC and was the daughter of the late Ibra Falls Seay and Josie (Goodwin) Seay. She graduated from Greenville General Hospital School of Nursing in 1963. Janet worked in multiple healthcare roles, most notably in Home Health and Hospice.

Janet was a generous caregiver, loved cooking, gardening, and spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Janet was a member of Brevard-Davidson River Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by 4 children, 11 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

A celebration memorial service will be held in the spring at Brevard-Davidson River Presbyterian Church.
